In an effort to make Forsyth County Board of Commissioners meetings more accessible to the public, archived streaming videos of meetings will now be available on the County’s web site, www.forsythco.com.
Visitors to the County’s web site will find a link to the meeting videos on the site’s main page. From there, visitors will be able to select a meeting date from those available and watch the Board of Commissioners meeting.
"This is a service we are very proud to offer the community," said Chairman Jack Conway. "It is another resource, in addition to the meeting broadcasts on Adelphia, which will allow an increased number of residents to stay informed of what is taking place at commission meetings."
"It will also permit those who are traveling and not able to attend the meetings in person or watch them on television to stay current with the issues," continued Conway.
Media Player 9 or newer is required to view the videos. A link to download Media Player is provided for those without it currently.
In addition to archived videos, the County is also looking to add, at the earliest possible date, live streaming videos of meetings available online.
