South Forsyth High School Varsity Competition Cheerleaders Named Grand Champions

Cumming, GA – October 4, 2008 – South Forsyth High School Varsity Competition Cheerleading Team were named grand champions after placing first in the 5A division at the 6th Annual Cats Classic Invitational – a Georgia High School Association sanctioned event held on Saturday at Duluth High School in Gwinnett County.

South Forsyth scored the highest points of all teams participating in the event, including Co-Ed, 5A, 3A, JV Co-Ed and JV all girl.

South Forsyth will compete again in two more regular season cheer competition invitationals at Peachtree Ridge High School and Forsyth Central High School respectively before competing in the Division 7-AAAAA Region Tournament to be held at Mill Creek on November 1.

South Forsyth High School has previously won six state titles in competition cheerleading.
