Cumming Resident Paralympian Hosts Clinic in Dunwoody

Paralympian and Cumming, GA resident, Gavin Cloy (center of picture) provides instruction to youth with physical disabilities at a BlazeSports America wheelchair basketball clinic held Sept. 23 at the Marcus Jewish Community Center in Dunwoody.

Cloy, a member of the U.S. wheelchair basketball team that competed in the 2004 Paralympic Games in Athens and the 2006 World Championships in Amsterdam, encouraged attendees at the clinic to complete an application for the International Paralympic Academy and potentially qualify to win a trip to the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing, China, Sept. 5-11, 2008.
