Now is the time also to register for fall Softball, baseball, and soccer leagues for both kids and adults.  2008 youth baseball and softball registration runs from July 28th to August 15th, and is open to all kids ages 4-15.  Registration is available at Central park and Sharon Springs park administrative offices from 8:30 am to 5pm.  Cost is $55 per child, and practices begin on August 25th.  You can call the Forsyth County Parks and Rec Department for more details at 770 781 2215 or visit thier website at www.forsythco.com

The 2008 Fall Miracle League is also registering new players and coaches on Saturday August 9th and 16th at the Coal Mountain community building. The fee is $35 per child and includes at jersey and a hat.  The fall season begins on September 27th

For Adult Athletics, Flag football is just about to get underway.  Registration dates are July 23rd through August 8th, with the first coaches meeting scheduled for August 19th at 7pm.  Check with the Forsyth County Parks and recreation office at  (770)781-2215
