You might be getting a call from an old friend of yours sometime this month. Maybe its someone your kids once played softball with, or your walking partner that you haven't seen in ages. Chances are someone you know is working hard to preserve and enhance the quality of life we all have here in Forsyth County by urging you to vote YES to the upcoming $100M bond issue for Forsyth County parks and greenspace.
On "Super Tuesday", February 5th, voters all over Georgia will vote in the Presidential primaries. This year's presidential race promises to be as interesting as it is significant to the future of our nation. Here in Forsyth, the Parks and Greenspace bond promises to have as much if not more of an impact, right here in our own back yard.
Envision Green Forsyth is a citizens group, comprised of representatives from all walks of life in Forsyth County, who have volunteered thier time to make sure this bond issue is passed. "The Parks, Recreation and Green Space Bond is about Breathing. Playing. Living. Preserving a legacy for our children by investing in a greener and healthier Forsyth County." Chairman John Clark said. "The public will have access to the parks, recreation areas and green space forever. Securing green space today helps protect the water quality of our rivers, lakes and streams."
