Tennis players and supporters descended on the Polo Golf and Country Club last month for the First Annual Tennis Round Robin for Komen for the Cure.
The hosts for the day, Bust A Move – ATL, a 3-Day walking team, worked hard over the past few months gathering items for raffles and silent auctions items from local businesses. Honey Baked Ham, Chick-Fil-A and Stacie’s Catering provided food for the round robin.
Dan Carozza, Tennis Director from Polo, helped Bust A Move – ATL make the event fun and an enjoyable day of tennis. Raffle winners were announced throughout the day with the event concluding with silent auction winners.
Bust A Move – ATL raised $4,000 for Komen for the Cure. Team members include Jackie Fuller, Meg Jones, Karen Barnes, Debra Johnson, Cindy Jones, Karen Rodi, Christy Klanac, Melanie Wicker, Aulbrey Fuller, Lisa Boone, Shelley Carr, Kristie Webster, Cheryl Nelson, Heather Burns and Kathleen Littleton.
