The Georgia Wildlife Resources Division will stock the Chattahoochee River at Whitewater Park in East Palisades on Wednesday, October 31 at 11:00. Volunteers are needed to get the truck load of trout we will be planning to stock into the river at that location.
Participants are encouraged to let us know they are coming by replying to this e-mail. We will use the list of confirmed volunteers to send additional information and determine if there are enough volunteers to make the stocking practical. Fish Carriers should bring weather appropriate clothing, waders, a 5 gallon bucket, and a strong back. Plan to get wet. We hope to provide sandwiches and drinks for the first 25 volunteers.
Whitewater Park is located on the Chattahoochee River north of Atlanta, Georgia. The attached map and directions should get most people to the stocking location. Volunteers will need to fill out the attached Volunteer Waiver. Please fill this out and turn it in before you participate. I'm looking forward to a great DH season. .
