Moody's Confirms Forsyth County's Aaa Rating Outlook is Stable

Forsyth County is one of only three top-rated counties in state
Moody's Investors Service has announced that the outlook on Forsyth County's Aaa rating has been confirmed as stable.
Forsyth County was among the states, counties and cities whose rating outlooks were reassessed due to having been identified as indirectly linked to the U.S. government. Due to this indirect linkage to the U.S. government, the rating outlooks for Forsyth County and many others had been reviewed to determine whether they would be confirmed as stable or potentially downgraded to negative.
"Forsyth County's strong financial condition, as illustrated by Moody's Aaa rating, is certainly something of which we can all be very proud," Commission Chairman Brian R. Tam said. "The county is fortunate to have a dedicated, talented staff and an outstanding management and legal team. Through their counsel and the Board policies that are in place, confirmation of the county's stable outlook was achieved."
Forsyth County is one of only three counties in Georgia with the Aaa rating from Moody's.

Notice in this press release Brian Tam did not give any credit to those people that are truly responsible for this rating ... the taxpayers and citizens of Forsyth County. The people who wake up and go to work every day to provide for their family and surrender that money to the mechanism of the government were not even mentioned. Not even a thank you. This is the height of disrespect and its not the first time the BoC has disrespected you.
Don't forget this is the same disrespectful BoC that misled you on SPLOST VII, suggested the taxpayers pay their health benefit until eligible for Medicare, suggested using your tax money $700,000 to purchase capital equipment for a private company, and raised your taxes in 2010.
When this rating is at risk they claim its your fault and raise your taxes; when the news is good its all due to the government.
Frankly I'm tired of these people disrespecting me and my neighbors.
Aaa is only a lie as usual. Anyone can get the answers to the wrong questions. Look at the Sheriffs Dept.. 'Awards' for everyone who joins their group.I think its called entitlement programs, most believe AS 'true'. WHEN ITS NOT!!!!!!

Anyone can maintain Aaa ratings when you have the ability to loot the taxpayers.
