Public Water Forum Monday at 6:30pm

A PUBLIC WATER FORUM will be held  on Monday, November 19 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Lumpkin County Park and Rec, 365 Riley Rd. Dahlonega, Ga. 30533.  It is sponsored by the Lumpkin Democratic and Republican Parties, Sierra Club, Lumpkin Coalition, and Lumpkin County Homeowners Association. A panel of experts including  Secretary of Agriculture Tommy Irvin, State Representative Amos Amerson, Corps of Engineers Michael Lupina, Chattahoochee Riverkeepers Sally Bethea, and Ga. Water Commission Joe Cook will discuss the current drought and water conditions. Written questions from the floor will be taken.  The public is invited to attend.
