City Adopts Watering Ban

The City of Cumming has adopted the state-mandated watering ban, which includes a watering ban during “non-drought” seasons. If you have an odd-numbered address, you are permitted to water outdoors on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays. If you have an even-numbered address, you are permitted to water outdoors on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. No outdoor watering is permitted on Fridays.

This watering ban will more than likely remain intact indefinitely and provides a helpful reminder to residents to practice water conservation all the time, as the Chattahoochee River and Lake Lanier are limited water resources.
