The vulnerability of some of its members sets the senior population apart from other age groups also concerned about crime. This vulnerability requires an innovative community-wide approach to the problem of the elderly and crime.

Fortunately, large numbers of active and capable older adults are willing to invest time and energy in this community-wide approach.
This approach is S.A.L.T.--Seniors And Lawmen Together!

Wednesday, September 19 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cumming Police Department, the Forsyth County Sheriff's Office, Cumming Police Department, and Forsyth County Senior Center come together with the seniors of Forsyth County and other distinguished guests to formally pledge their commitment to keeping seniors safe in our community.

Seniors are invited to come enjoy the refreshments that will be served and become a member of S.A.L.T. as they register to win door prizes!
