SPLOST VI Citizens Committee to Hold Inaugural Meeting
 
The Forsyth County Board of Commissioners announces the inaugural meeting of the SPLOST VI Citizens Transportation Projects Selection Committee on Monday, November 26. The public is invited to attend.  
Serving on the committee are:

  • Jim Boff (District 1 representative)
  • Charles I. Smith (District 2 representative)
  • Bob Charles (District 3 representative)
  • Charles Cantrell (District 4 representative)
  • Ernest Turner (District 5 representative)
  • Tracy Moon (Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce representative); and
  • John Manton (senior community representative).       


The meeting will serve as an introduction to the purpose, role and responsibilities of the committee; provide an outline of the work to be accomplished by the committee; and include overviews of the SPLOST VI program as well as transportation projects and plans.  
The meeting will be held at 4 p.m. in the Board of Commissioners Conference Room, Suite 210, in the Forsyth County Administration Building located at 110 East Main Street.
