Georgia DOT announces lane closures on State Route 400 in Forsyth County if weather permits tomorrow the 29th and continuing Monday the 3rd and Tuesday the 4th.
“Crews will be removing the overhang forms on the State Route 141 Bridge over State Route 400. This work will require one lane of SR 400 to be closed as forms are removed over that lane. Work will begin tomorrow closing the outside lane of 400 northbound from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Monday work will continue northbound from 9:30am to about lunch. We expect to be finished northbound then and switch over to southbound until 3:00pm. Tuesday work will be all southbound, closing the right lane from 9:30am to 3:00pm. ,” DOT District Engineer Russell McMurry said.
This work is part of the 6.5 mile long widening of State Route 141. The projected completion date is July 31, 2009 and was bid at a cost of $50,684,808.76
