Thank You To everyone who "Got on the Bus!",

To everyone who "Got on the Bus!",

I can't tell you how grateful and overwhelmed I have been these past few months by the kindness and support that you have shown me as I campaigned for the District 2 County Commissioner seat. The words of encouragement you offered, the signs you put out, the emails you sent, the calls you made, and the enthusiasm with which you did it all truly have humbled me.

While the outcome didn't turn out the way we wanted, the journey was its own reward. I got to meet many new people, visit groups all over the county, and develop new friendships that will last much longer than a 4 year term. I am so blessed to have been able to share this time with all of you. I have collected stories and anecdotes to last a lifetime!

Thank you again from the bottom of my heart. May God bless you, your families, and may He keep His hand and favor upon our county.

At least, you ran an honorable and respectable campaign based on the true issues at hand, your merits in Public Service, and what you sought to achieve otherwise as a Commissioner for your concerns as a Citizen of Forsyth County.

I wish you'd have better emphasised your experience and knowledge of Forsyth County Government earlier in the campaign...then perhaps?

Thank you Mike, Your dedication to this county has been greatly appreciated. You and your supporters conducted an honorable campaign and you all should be proud of your hard work and valiant efforts. I'm just so sorry so many missed the bus. It would have been a ride to remember.
