Mike Busse has announced that he will seek the Republican nomination for the Forsyth County District #2 Commission seat in the upcoming Republican primary July 15.
Mike Busse is 43 years old and has been married to his wife Linda for 21 years this August They have two daughters, Brandi who is 20 and attends UGA (Go Dawgs) and Belinda who is 18.
Mike has worked for a Fortune 500 company as a Manager for the last 14 years. Mike is a six year veteran of the Army National Guard Military Police.
Mike is very active in his Community having served as President of our local Masonic Lodge (Mt.Zion 316)and the Cumming Shrine Club, Mike has also proudly served our local Republican Party as a 2 term Vice Chairman. and has spent countless hours raising much needed funds for numerous charities like Shriner's hospitals for children,March of Dimes, MDA, and JA just to name a few.
"I'm running for Commissioner because I understand the issues we face as a county." Busse Said. "I'm at a place in my life where I can dedicate the time this office deserves. I have the courage to stand up to corrupting influences and stand shoulder to shoulder with my fellow citizens. I have always felt that Forsyth county was one of the nicest places to live and raise a family, We have a golden opportunity to preserve the quaintness of the county we love so much."
