Patrick Bell, candidate for Forsyth County Commission District 4, will be at the City of Cumming Fireworks celebration on July 3rd from 6PM until closing. Just look for his booth in the vendor area. “This is a great time to meet people and it is invigorating that we can do this at the same time as we celebrate our great country”, said Bell yesterday by phone as he was running all over the 4th district talking to citizens about their thoughts.
Patrick is running for County Commission on a platform of Teamwork & Cooperation and offers a cooperative approach to his ideas for solving our water supply issues, traffic relief needs and business recruitment. A business owner for over 20 years, Patrick brings a wealth of knowledge along with a proven track record of facilitating teamwork, cooperative and positive change.
Patrick and his family have called Cumming-Forsyth County home since 1999. Patrick is an active volunteer with the Boy Scouts of America at the troop, district and council levels. His son will be entering 10th grade this year in the Forsyth County schools and is completing his the last step towards earning the rank of Eagle. Bell’s wife, Amy, is in the medical field as well as helping Patrick with the details of running a campaign.

Mr Bell,
Could you please put forth your position on property rights, zoning and development?
SPLOST 6
Jim Boff... DIDN'T EVEN SERVE HIS OWN DISTRICT!!!
Serving on the committee are Jim Boff (District 1 representative); Charles I. Smith (District 2 representative); Bob Charles (District 3 representative); Charles Cantrell (District 4 representative); Ernest Turner (District 5 representative); Tracy Moon (Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce representative); and John Manton (senior community representative).
Mr. Waddell, Congratulations on becoming the Pam Bowman of Campaign 2008 (aka the city's patsy). Up until this article you had my respect but not my vote. Now with this sort of ridiculous attempt to instigate some negative campaign against an honest candidate, you don't have either. The appointees on this committee do not have to represent a particular district. They are just the type of citizens who care enough to make the time to get involved. I notice that your name is not there for ANY district. I respect the position you hold as a firefighter, and therefore am shocked at this sort of juvenile attack on Jim Boff for making the time to serve this county.
Sorry to bring the truth! Pam or no Pam, City or not City... My name is not on there, because I am not shoved up Laughinghouse's rear! Thank you very much and as far as your vote OR respect? You want even write your name ... Mr. Boff - YOU ARE A COWARD!!!
My comments... I did not mean to sling any mud earlier. I never meant to offend anyone or hurt anyones feelings. I saw that information on a web page and would of liked to know how to serve on a committee and it not be in the district you live in. Which were answered by Boff and Smith. Some of the other comments got spun way out of control and some were not signing their name and I said somethings I am embarressed about... I want to apoligize to you Jim Boff for those comments - I AM SORRY!!!
Mr. Quinn,
You'll have a long wait to hear about Mr. Bell's positions on property rights, zoning and development, as Bill Johnson hasn't gotten around to writing them for Mr. Bell yet.
David,
I'll bet the voters would like to hear about how you and your ex-con buddy Jerry Wickliffe conspired to rig the SGFC debate. Did you visit him in federal prison while hs was serving time for bid rigging?
And, did you dictate that email from Wickliffe to Patrick Bell that stated Wickliffe had withdrawn as moderator for the second debate? You know the one I mean. This is it right here:
From: jerry wickliffe [mailto:] Sent: Wednesday, June 25, 2008 1:42 PM To: Subject: TeamBell :: Elect Patrick Bell :::
This is an enquiry e-mail via http://www.teambell.org from: jerry wickliffe wickliffe@bellsouth.net">cowickliffe@bellsouth.net
I understand that you think I cannot remain unbiased in this last debate. I certainly don't want any candidate to think I am biased towards one candidate as opposed to another. I am as a private citizen not a member of Smart Growth going to vote for certain candidates. I want this debate to be fair and not seen as biased so I will not be the moderator. I think as I am a former Eagle Scout I would want this debate as fair as possible.
Proof once again that you, Wickliffe and SGFC will say anything and do anything to hold onto power?
What's the matter, commissioner, cat got your tongue?
This from a person who refuses to answer simple questions regarding her relationship with the Bell Campaign?
Frankly, Debra, you and Jerry, Chris, John, and anyone else who supports Patrick Bell can just go pound sand as far as I am concerned. I have taken more crap from you than I deserve, and you just aren't important enough for me to respond to you anymore.
You deserve it and don't want to face it Commissioner. You have been on a rampage for years now and it has finally caught up with you.
