This brings the total early votes to 6002, already nearly half of total votes in the 2004 Primary.
"Based on these numbers, we are projecting that we will cast 30,000+ votes in Forsyth County by the end of Election Day on Tuesday." Registrar Gary Smith stated. "This compares with the total number of 12,450 votes cast during the 2004 Presidential Preference Primary. If these numbers hold, we will have 140% more votes cast during this year’s election than the prior 2004 Presidential Preference Primary."
