When will the Forsyth County School Board address this issue? When we elect people that are willing to take on the issue, that's when. The people presented a petition to abolish this grading system and stop its expansion to the school board. We can't even get the issue up for a vote? Why are they not listening. Thank you Brant Meadows for your editorial. You are spot on Mr. Meadows. The petition included teachers that signed it, because they don't like it either. Parents don't like it, teachers don't like it, but the school board continues to ignore the pleas of the people. This grading system breeds mediocrity. But our children and our teachers are far from mediocre. We need to raise the bar and not lower it through the 123 grading system.

Mr. Meadows is a natural for this kind of editoral. Good to see he has an outlet for those things many of us are thinking but have no outlet for.
