I have asked in other articles, to protect children and adults from serious busing/traffic issues on 2-lane, Castleberry Road, which has about 15 curves on it, and to stop the commercialization of this dangerous portion by the building of a strip/mall and other commercial businesses, 5/10 mile from Whitlow ES, and to help common sense prevail, I've asked you to either e-mail or call the Forsyth County Board of Commissioners by going to
http://www.forsythco.com/department.asp?DeptID=31, and asking them to deny ZA 3438, or call 770-781-2101 and leave this message.
I've also asked you to attend the Thursday, 4/17, 5 p.m., BOC Meeting at 110 E. Main St., FC Admin. Bldg., 2nd Floor, and you and your children tell the BOC directly to deny this rezoning that will endanger the lives of defenseless children.
In addition, I wanted to draw your attention to this important petition that I recently signed:
"Rezoning Application 3438 dangerous to children"
http://www.ipetitions.com/petition/Whitlow
I really think this is an important cause, and I'd like to encourage you to add your signature, too. It's free and takes less than a minute of your time.
Thank you. In His Name, Pastor Jo Ann Leifeste, Retired

I really believe that Cumming has too many strip malls. All that usually turns up in these malls are nail salons and dry cleaners anyway. Seeing as it's so close to Whitlow Elementary, how about something a little more desirable such as a childrens' puppetry center or toy store? We don't stand to benefit in any way from having more strip malls and our children could really use more places for parents to take them, which the city of Cumming definitely lacks!
