Benny Grant, 44, of Dawsonville died Sunday April 6, 2008 at his residence.

Mr. Grant was a lifelong resident of Dawson County and was preceded in death by his father, Billy Grant and a sister, Sue Grant Chadwick.

Surviving are his wife, Lynda Grant, Dawsonville; children, Ashley P. Grant, Dawsonville, Cody Grant, Dawsonville; mother, Marvine Grant, Dawsonville; sisters, Teresa Wilson, Dawsonville, Debbie Buchanan, Fletcher, NC; brother, Bobby Grant, Dawsonville, and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday April 9, 2008 at 2 o’clock at Bearden Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Randy Perry will officiate. Interment will follow in Moss Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends after 1 pm Tuesday afternoon at the funeral home.
