Mashburn Evacuated Due to a Gas Leak

Due to a large gas main break, Mashburn Elementary school was evacuated Friday. Students were transferred to Settles Bridge for the remainder of the day. There were no reported injuries. The Mashburn after school program was canceled.
Afternoon school buses ran normally from Settles Bridge, for students of both schools. Parents who normally pick up their kids at Mashburn, or have them enrolled in after school programs, must pick their children up at Settles Bridge by 3:30 pm.
