The Georgia Department of Education recently released 2007-08 Criterion Referenced Competency Test (CRCT) results for all Georgia systems and the state as a whole. FCS students outscored students from every other Metro Atlanta school system on every area in every grade level of this year's CRCT. Additionally, as compared to the state as a whole, FCS was the number one ranking district in four areas and was one of the top five highest scoring districts in 22 out of 34 areas.
"We are thrilled and ecstatic to receive these scores. There are a lot of reasons to celebrate these CRCT results," said Superintendent L.C. (Buster) Evans. "Our teachers have done a phenomenal job at delivering the standards-based curriculum to promote high levels of learning for our students. We commend our educators, students and parents for their outstanding work throughout the school year. These scores are certainly something we can all be very proud of."
Scores for individual schools will be published once received by the system.

Talk about a darn misleading headline??? Forsyth really needs to stop thinking so highly of itself and get down to weeding out the "old boy network" to make any "real" progress in the "real" world.
And Please no more apologists for 1 2 3 Grading. It needs to be abolished. Period.
