The Committee to elect Julie Tressler officially filed a request asking for a recount of the election results that awarded Jim Boff the republican nomination for County Commissioner by only 30 votes. Today, Tressler will get her due process. The recount will be held in the County admin building, beginning at 10am. Results will be posted on the voter registration and elections website (click HERE)
The recount should take about 2 hours.
According to state law, a recount is not automatic, but can be performed if either party requests it within 2 business days of the election certification, and if the margin of victory is less than 1%.
Final Results will also be reported on this site as it becomes available.
