The staff at the Georgia Visitor Information Center on I-85 at Lavonia (Lake Hartwell) has done an outstanding job in decorating for Christmas. The decorations feature small scale lighted displays from Lake Lanier Islands and a Christmas tree decorated by Mountain Lakes Vacation Rentals featuring ornaments depicting northeast Georgia tourism attractions donated by members of the North East Georgia Mountain Travel Assocation and others.

Travelers are cordially invited to stop by, check out the Christmas decorations, pick up a new Georgia road map and a new travel guide, and say hello to the fine people who work there.

If you would like to donate an ornament for next years "Tourism Tree," e-mail to mlake@mtnlakes.com.
