Forsyth County remembered the lives lost September 11, 2001 and honored public safety personnel today at the Liberty Garden Ceremony. Held at the Central Park Recreation Center and organized by Keep Forsyth County Beautiful, the ceremony included remarks by Forsyth County Fire Chief Danny Bowman, a moving performance by the Forsyth Central High School “Maskers”, and the Honor Guards of the Forsyth County Fire Department and Sheriff’s Office.

Just watched Chief Bowman's 9-11 comments on the net. Would just like to say how proud we are in the fire department of our chief. We enjoy having the best department head in the county and hope he remains our chief for a long long time. Thanks chief for representing us so well.
