According to Vice Principal, Elaine Francel, of Cornerstone Schools, the month of March is going to be a very busy time.
Winners of the Cornerstone Oratorical Competition, Colt Neal and Macy Moreau, will be heading to the 2008 Optimist International Oratorical Contest held at the Forsyth County Board of Education in March.
Open enrollment also starts on March 3rd at Cornerstone Schools. Anyone interested in checking out Cornerstone’s beautiful campus and their Kindergarten through 9th grade programs should call 770-205-8202 to set up a tour.
Parent – Teacher conferences are scheduled for March 19, 20 and 21. These days will be half days for all students.
Cornerstone’s monthly cultural lunch will be a celebration of all things Irish held on March 28th.
The staff of Cornerstone Schools would also like to recognize Karen Vara and Hannah Bagley, who recently competed in level 2 competitions in gymnastics at North Forsyth TNT Gymnastics and received scores over 9.0 on bars and beam. Congratulations Karen and Hannah!
A big Thank You goes out to all who participated in the recent food drive to help fill the pantry at THE PLACE. Also congratulations to all Cornerstone students who participated in the Jump Rope for Heart campaign.
Cornerstone students collected over $7000 for the American Heart Association. Great Job!
