Bring your kids to Drama Camp this summer! Budding or veteran thespians between the ages of 5 and 18 are invited to explore their imaginations at Drama Camp this summer with Gypsy Theatre Company, your community professional theatre company. These week-long camps are tailored for the interests and skills of each age group.
All Drama Camps will be taught by Liz Brendel, Professional Instructor of Theatre for Young Audiences. A partial description for each session follows below. “Where the Wild Things Are” - Target Age: 5-7 years old
Campers will utilize puppetry and movement work to bring to life the text of Maurice Sendak's “Where the Wild Things Are.”
“Jabberwock” - Target Age: 8-10 years
Campers will utilize mask work and choral speak to bring to life the text of Lewis Carroll’s “Jabberwock.”
“Everyone has a story to tell” - Target Age: 11-13 years
This camp will focus on creative writing, improvisation, and group storytelling.
“Imagination Improvisation” - Target Age: 14-18 years
This session, intended for those with or without previous training in improvisation, will take campers through essential warm-ups, ensemble building exercises, and games to become familiar with the art of improvisation.
Each of these week-long Drama Camps will culminate with a performance by the Campers for invited family and friends.

“Gone For A Soldier: Voices of the American Civil War”
Auditions slated for April 26, 2008, 1:00 - 5:00 pm
Non-Equity open audition for 2 men, ages 18-30. All roles paid.
Performance Dates:
June 7-29, 2008, Saturdays and Sundays only
2:00 pm and 4:00 pm each day.
