Forsyth Christian School will host an open house this saturday from 10:00 a.m. to noon for prospective families.
A non-denominational Christian school, FCS offers pre-kindergarten classes through the twelfth grade, providing students with a balanced, Christian education in a success-oriented environment.
Elective classes for all grade levels include Spanish, Entrepeneurship & Business, American Sign Language, and others.
The school also offers a full range of middle school, junior varsity and varsity athletics including volleyball, basketball, cheerleading, track and girls soccer. Additionally, FCS is proud to announce that they will be adding a tackle football program this fall to its varsity programs. Both their volleyball and basketball programs enter the 2008-2009 year as region champions and state tournament qualifiers. The boys varsity basketball program completed their season ranked number fifteen in the country for its division by the NACA.
Academically, the school boasts achievement testing scores that average nearly two years above grade level and students who thrive in a classroom size no larger than fifteen in elementary and eighteen in their upper school.
FCS is located at 3149 Old atlanta Road in Suwanee, convenient to Cumming, Alpharetta, Sugar Hill and the greater Atlanta area.
