The Bethelview Road Discovery Point’s child development staff got a boost with the addition of Beth Nevius, the 2004 recipient of the Tylenol National Early Childhood Education Teacher of the Year according to owner Hows King.

Ms. Nevius is the Lead Teacher of one of our Georgia Pre-K classrooms.  She adds further depth to a program that this year achieved the State’s highest rating of “All Exceeds” on the most recent Bright From The Start assessment adds Mr. King.

Ms. Nevius was selected Teacher of the Year by The Terri Lynne Lokoff Foundation which recognizes exemplary early care and education providers for their commitment to maintaining high-quality child care practices and dedication to the children they teach.

Ms. Nevius has relocated to the Cumming area from Danville, Pennsylvania with her two sons.

Located at 5850 Bethelview Road, the center is open from 6:30 a.m. until 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and serves children starting at the age of 6 weeks. The phone number is 770-205-5170.
