Taste Network will host a Kudzu Dinner at Hanson Farms in Cumming, Ga. on August 16, 2008 at 6 p.m. Taste Network, an Atlanta based company, has partnered with Hanson Farms and Chef Matt Harris of Trois to bring a one of a kind field to table experience to the public. The event will take place at the farm located at 4701 Piney Grove Drive, Cumming, Ga. 30040.
The experience will include an heirloom tomato reception, farm tour and a five-course dinner paired with Reserve Pinot Noirs from a sustainable Oregon winery. The dinner is one in a series of ten focused on telling the story of
the local, organic and bio-dynamic farmer to raise public awareness.
Brady Lowe, founder of Taste Network believes this will be a great event and said, "I can't express how excited we are for this dinner. The farm is a little piece of heaven in Cumming. The Hanson's focus is on heritage and heirloom breeds. We'll have 30 different kinds of heirloom tomatoes. It's a foodie's dream."
