The Forsyth County Parks and Recreation Department invites citizens to attend the second annual Grass in the Grove Bluegrass Festival. The festival will be held Saturday, September 20, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Shady Grove Campground. The festival will feature traditional bluegrass bands and contemporary bluegrass bands, including Honi Deaton and Dream, Hardline Drive, Steel String Session, Georgia Mudcats, The Suggins Brothers and The Harmon Family.

Shady Grove Campground is located at 7800 Shadburn Ferry Road in Cumming. The entry fee will be $10 per vehicle. Tent and RV campsites will be available. Call 770.205.6849 to reserve a campsite.
