Webster’s Dictionary defines Feedback as a “Rumbling sound resulting from an amplified or broadcast signal that has been returned as input and retransmitted.” A Rock and Roll Dictionary however, might define it as “ A band of Misfit Brothers dedicated to carrying on the rich tradition of making great music in Cumming,Georgia.”
Formed in 2002 by members Matthew Castleberry, Daniel Hamby, Chris Cheatham, Calvin Heard, and Bryan Martin, FEEDBACK has seen almost every stage that can be played in the North Georgia area. From The Star Bar in Atlanta, to the hills of Copper Hill, Tennessee, many a face has been “Rawked’ by the FEEDBACK experience. Believing in giving back to their community, FEEDBACK has performed such charities as Relay For Life, Habitat For Humanity, and worked along side of Cumming Home at The North Georgia Music Fest, a benefit for Challenged Child And Friends, at the last ever show at Lanierland Music Park.
Now in 2008, FEEDBACK brings their latest CD “Tales Of The American Dream” to their allegiance of fans. Drawing from such influences as Tom Petty, The Drive-By Truckers, and Waylon Jennings, “Tales Of The American Dream” encompasses eleven tunes that range from their views on the growth of their hometown, to the history of hauling illegal whiskey out of Dawson County. The album demonstrates the art of guitar driven, gut-wrenching, heartbreaking, and foot stomping music guaranteed to leave one thirsting for more. These local boys also let their Country roots shine on two songs by enlisting the help of another Forsyth County native and friend, Wendell Cox from Travis Tritt’s Country Club Band, on steel guitar.
