The Humane Society of Forsyth County invites you to enjoy an evening of fine food and great live entertainment, while helping to make it possible to rescue more animals in Cummng/Forsyth County area.   The Humane Society shelter is full, crowded and funding is meager at best.  We are one of the few No-Kill shelters in our area.  We help pets find homes in Forsyth county, Roswell, North Fulton, John's Creek, and Alpharetta areas. We must raise funds to help accommodate the helpless animals that need homes.

The event begins at 5:00pm on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at the Atlanta Marriott Alpharetta on Windward Parkway.  The Silent auction begins at 5:00 pm with dinner at 7:00 pm, The Bark & Boogie Ball will be a black tie (optional) affair.  Entertainment provided too! This year's entertainment provided by Power Play.    Click HERE for Reservations

Hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will kick things off.  An elegant gourmet seated dinner is next followed by dancing with live music ...

Our silent auction will be beyond your imagination, featuring unique one of a kind items, trips, golf outings and collector's items in every category.  You never know what celebrity may show up to surprise everyone!

All funds raised will aid the Humane Society of Forsyth County on various projects such as enlargement of the facility and most importantly giving hope to more of our four-legged friends.  All animals are spayed/neutered and receive medical care, all paid by the shelter.

Please keep in mind that we receive no public funding, only generous donations from caring people like you!

It's a shame the Humane Society has strayed so far from their beginnings 30 years ago. The majority of the funds they raise is to pay for their own salaries. The amount of money they spend for the few animals they help is disgraceful. There are a lot more deserving charities to give to then this one.
