A Book Is a Present…Winter Family Celebration at the Library

A book is a present, a present you can open again and again and again…

The Forsyth County Public Library’s winter family program celebrates family togetherness and gift-giving (especially the kind of gift-giving money can’t buy). Families can enjoy winter fun, yet stay cozy at the 40-minute program for all ages, featuring stories, seasonal songs, and a puppet show based on The Gift of Nothing, by Patrick McDonnell.

At Cumming, “A Book Is a Present…” will be Tuesday, December 4. At Sharon Forks, the program will be Thursday, December 6. Both programs begin at 6:30 p.m. These free programs are especially appropriate for ages 4 to 10, but the whole family is welcome. No reservations are needed.

For more information, call the Youth Services Department of the Forsyth County Public Library at 770-781-9840, Ext. 9364, or visit the Forsyth County Public Library website: www.forsythpl.org.
