The Salon at Cumming Station is Cumming's newest place to get a new lease on style. The salon, located at 125 Tribble Gap Rd. Suite 104 will open for business October 13 and offers cutting, color, texture, and styling consultations and services for men, women, and children.
Owned by Dawn Pruitt, former stylist at Image Salon & Spa, The Salon at Cumming Station will feature a full line of professional hair products and offer the latest in innovative and creative styling. Pruitt, who has 18 years experience and is certified in advanced cutting techniques from Roffler School of Hair Design, joins forces with two other experienced stylists, Jessie DiMattina and Linda Lewsader. Pruitt defines their goal as being able to "exceed expectations for a full service hair salon by staying up to date on all styles, trends, and techniques." Staying abreast of styles and trends isn't easy, but professionals like Pruitt, DiMattina, and Lewsader are able to do so by attending yearly stylist conventions and participating in continuing education.
The Salon at Cumming Station will be open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. Appointments are recommended and appointments outside of normal business hours can be accepted to accommodate busy clients. To schedule an appointment, call (678) 455-8746. Additional information can be obtained from their website at www.thesalonatcummingstation.com.
