Upon entering the airline terminal, you’ll find that many of your liquid makeup necessities are banned from boarding. Our beverages, toothpaste and hairspray may be grounded, but you can still find ways to sustain your high altitude attractiveness. So keep your liquids, gels and lotions safely stowed at home. With a little pre-trip planning, you’ll have the right tools stored in your carry-on to give your appearance a quick lift-off.
· Drink plenty of water for 24 hours before your flight. Staying hydrated is important. Pack high-water content fruits, such as oranges, cantaloupe and berries to snack on during the trip. Avoid dehydrating drinks like coffee, soda, tea & alcoholic beverages.
· On the day of, fully moisturize your skin before applying makeup to help carry you through the day.
· Go for small powder containers. In the event of a delay, powder shampoo and fragrances will keep you fresh.
· Bring pre-moistened towelettes to clean hands; facial blotting tissue to pat an oily complexion.
· Beautify your face with extended-wear foundations, eye and lip cosmetics.
· Prescription creams and medicine are permitted to board if the label is clearly prescribed for the ticket holder.
