The Foster House in downtown Cumming presents a dinner theatre event called An Evening with Mark Twain on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 6:30 p.m.
Come join fellow Forsyth County diners on the patio at The Foster House for an evening filled with story telling from the master himself! Performed by Kurt Sutton and presented in the setting of Samuel L. Clemens' parlor, Mark Twain will share his wit, wisdom and humor -- and sing-a-long songs with which he entertained his family and friends. Guests will hear some of Mark Twain’s signature tales and are invited to sing along to some old favorites.

Here's what's on the menu:
A 3-course meal served with tea and coffee
*Cranberry & Bleu Cheese Salad
Your choice of entree:
*Southern Fried Catfish served with Hush Puppies, Coleslaw, & Baked Potato OR
*Stuffed Pork Chops Served with Sauteed Vegetable Medley and Roasted Potatoes
Dessert will be choice of:
*Pumpkin Cranberry Cheesecake OR
*Mississippi Mud
Hot Apple Cider will be served the before the dinner and play begin, so be sure to come early.
Cost for the evening: $27.95 per person (plus tax and tip)
A cash bar will also available, serving wine and beer.
In case of inclement weather, the Dinner Theatre event will be rescheduled for spring 2007.
