Built in 1910 by Robert Henry Mansell with timbers from the trees on his farm, the Mansell House was relocated to the Wills Park grounds fifteen years ago. It is a Queen Anne style house that has been preserved by the Alpharetta Historical Society to reflect the essence of a bygone era. It sits amidst the award-winning gardens created and maintained by the Alpharetta Garden Club.

Interior décor includes Victorian period furnishings and accessories throughout the house's five rooms. The original floors of heart pine, twelve foot ceilings, antique mantels, crystal chandeliers, an early organ, and piano create a turn-of-the-century ambiance,

From the veranda one can enjoy the view of the adjoining gardens which include a gazebo, arbor, bronze statues, and an 100-year-old oak tree that provide a romantic backdrop for the year-around seasonal blooms.

The Mansell House & Gardens are available for rental occasions such as wedding ceremonies, receptions, parties and meetings. Proceeds are used for the continuing preservation of the Mansell House and other projects such as the Milton High School Log Cabin and heritage education programs for local schools and organizations.
