July 4th will mark will the 12th Anniversary of My Hart Auctions, Inc. in Cumming. Specializing in estate auctions, liquidation, and antiques, My Hart’s special holiday auction includes items from the estate of Maxine Louis Jenkins (1919-2008). A long-time resident of Cumming, Jenkins received the Freedom Foundation Award from President Nixon, was a graduate of Young Harris College, taught at Atlanta’s Cascade High School, and was an avid tennis player with the Alta Tennis League.
Items from the Jenkins estate include a Brambach baby grand piano, an assortment of home furnishings, and the auction will also feature other items from Metro Atlanta as well as Northern states. The auction takes place at 1:00 p.m. in their climate controlled building at 2566 Bethelview Rd. and will be catered by Cherokee Ranch. Preview scheduled at 10:00 a.m.
My Hart Auctions, Inc. is owned by Myrna Elzey, managed by John Reinhart, and assisted in the day-to-day operations by Melanie Elzey. Typical auctions are held the first and third Saturdays of every month. Delivery of items is available and My Hart Auctions is always accepting consignments.
