Crossroads Church of the Nazarene, the only Nazarene Church in the Cumming and surrounding area, will be moving to its new location at 215 Advantage Drive in Cumming the end of this month. The church, led by Pastor Steve Dudley since 2006, strives to be a place of hope and grace for its members and the community. The move, which provides the church with additional space for growth and ministry, comes just in time to celebrate the International Church of the Nazarene Centennial Anniversary celebration October 5.
Pastor Dudley, who was called to ministry after 13 years in the business world, was ordained in 2004 after attending Trevecca Nazarene University in Tennessee. Upon moving to Cumming in 2006, Pastor Dudley says of his church and community, “this is now home.”
According to Pastor Dudley, hope and grace can be found at Crossroads through the church’s practice of three core beliefs: “as Christian people we believe in a universal church with Jesus Christ as its head, as Holiness people we believe that God is holy and works through the Holy Spirit in our lives so we can be holy also, and as Missional people we believe in the call to evangelism and compassion.” Pastor Dudley extends a personal and open invitation to anyone to visit the church and see why he feels Crossroads is a place of hope and grace.
Each Sunday, Crossroads conducts CrossTraining for all ages beginning at 9:30 a.m. with a worship service each Sunday at 10:30 a.m. Small group meetings are scheduled in the fall.
