The Georgia Department of Transportation has proposed a project that would provide for the widening and reconstruction of SR 20 from the intersection of SR 371/Post Road to the intersection of SR20/Buford Highway and SR 9/Atlanta Highway in Forsyth County.

On July 25 at 7:45 am, the Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce is hosting State Consultant Design Engineer Babs Abubakari of the GDOT to answer questions about the effect of the project on local businesses at their monthly breakfast meeting, InForum.

Chamber members and business owners will hear about the three proposed alternatives and will have the opportunity to ask questions about the project and how it may impact business along the route.

Event will take place at the Chamber’s events facility, 513 W. Maple St., Cumming, GA. .  Cost $5 members, $15 non-members.
