Possible Ramifications of GREAT Plan Topic of Chamber Meeting

Dan McRae with SeyFarth Shaw, an Atlanta law firm, and a development authority bond attorney and the Public Policy Committee Chair for the Georgia Economic Developers Association will be the keynote speaker at a Cumming-Forsyth County Chamber of Commerce economic development committee meeting next Wednesday. McRae will speak on the potential tax changes that would occur as a result of H.R. 900, otherwise known as Speaker Glenn Richardson’s GREAT plan. McRae has expressed serious concerns about the possible ramifications of the plan, which would repeal all ad valorem taxes in the State of Georgia. The meeting is open to the media and public.
