Pastor Ted Miller of Lanier United Methodist Church will begin a new sermon series on June 8 entitled "Heroes". The series will run through July and will lift up biblical heroes and more. For example "The Hero in My House" (Father's Day) and "Heroes of Our Nation" (July 4 celebration).  Worship times are 8:45 (traditional) and 11:00 (contemporary praise)

A support group, "Help for Hurting Hearts" gives ear and advice to people with all kinds of problems and meets in the Lanier UMC sanctuary every Sunday evening at 6:00pm. For more information, call the church office at 770-887-0615.
