Republican Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee visited Forsyth county this weekend.  Governor Huckabee, an ordained Baptist minister, spoke at First Redeemer Church Sunday as the church celebrated "There's Hope for America" ministries.

Huckabee delivered a passionate plea to return to traditional family values, and for all Christians to "put their boat in the water" and make a difference.

It's a shame Mike Huckabee doesn't have the political and financial support to make a serious run for the Presidency. He was awesome at First Redeemer and his speech truly shows his character and better yet, HE HAS CHARACTER. Every Christian should stand up and vote for this man. He deserves our vote.

What a biased comment, 'Every Christian should stand up and vote'. Just because pretty words swayed you does not indicate that Mike Huckabee should recieve any votes. It's great thing that he doesn't have the political or financial support to make a run. the only reason he is showing up at a church is because no one else wants to hear him speak.

Mr./Mrs. C, from your comment above I can tell you did not attend First Redeemer Church that day to hear Mr. Huckabee. That's too bad because he is one of a kind. For a "true" christian there is only one "true" christian voice that is running for President in 2008 and that is of Gov. Mike Huckabee. If you know of a better Christian canidate please let me know and I would like to take the time and educate myself.
