The River United Methodist Church will hold a preview worship service, “Prayers for Learning” on Wednesday, August 20 at 6:30pm. This special service will lift up all those who are going back to school. Special prayers will be raised for teachers and other education workers, parents and other guardians, and especially the students themselves. All are invited to attend.
Dr. Buster Evans, Superintendent of Forsyth County Schools, will be a special guest. A special offering will be taken for the Mentor Me program.
