The Student Association of Covenant Christian Academy in Cumming will host a Coffee House on Saturday evening, December 1st, from 7-9 p.m. The Coffee House will be held in the school gymnasium at 6905 Post Road. Admission is free.
A variety of warm beverages and desserts will be for sale during the evening. Proceeds will benefit the CCA Student Association. The musical program for the Coffee House will highlight the talents of several Covenant students including first grade vocalist and pianist Abby Hall, fifth grade vocalist Ben Perri, and sixth grade violinist Grace Arnold.
The special guest of the evening will be Covenant’s sixth grade teacher, Charles Lutz. Mr. Lutz has written nearly 100 songs and will perform vocal and guitar music from his two CDs, “Windover” and “Crystal Blue Evening”. A set of two CDs of Mr. Lutz’s music will be available for $15 at this event. Mr. Lutz will contribute $5 from the sale of each CD set to Reformation Hope Children’s Orphanage in Haiti.
