Yes, New York City has the Radio City Christmas Spectacular, but we have Christmas at Johns Creek! This year’s Christmas at Johns Creek is particularly significant because, not only will it be held in the brand-new 2,200 seat sanctuary at Johns Creek Baptist Church (which is home to the beautiful new $1.5 million Ruffatti pipe organ), but it is also the tenth year anniversary of this Christmas production.
The music and drama of Christmas at Johns Creek varies from year to year, but the celebration of the Christmas story remains the centerpiece. Adult and youth choirs, live orchestra, dancers, and actors, will fill the room as they present beautiful music, colorful pageantry, and powerful drama.
Three performances are scheduled (Saturday, December 8 at 4:00 PM and Sunday, December 9 at 4 and 7 PM). The shows are free, but tickets should be picked up from the Johns Creek Baptist Church office (7500 McGinnis Ferry Road). For more information about Johns Creek Baptist or Christmas at Johns Creek, go to www.jcbc.org.
