Join hundreds of nicely dressed singles from Georgia’s 20+ metro counties in Alpharetta for Singles Dances Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s Dance on Friday, March 14th.
These weekly, smoke-free parties for singles and dating couples ages 35 to about 65 have become Georgia’s favorite singles events and have been drawing 200-300 singles every week since they started five years ago.
Singles usually stay on the huge 2800 square foot dance floor all night as DJ Jeff Crecelius plays a wide variety of music from the 60’s through 2008. There are plenty of fun fast songs and a generous amount of ladies and gent’s choice slow songs so everyone can ask anyone to dance.
The music is played on an awesome 3500-watt sound system and the hardwood dance floor has plenty of room for the hundreds of singles. Singles Dances Atlanta provides singles with a fun, low-pressure environment, which is an alternative to the bar scene. 90% + of all singles, especially the ladies, come by themselves and have done so for years. There are also several tables they set aside called Jump-Start tables where first-time singles can immediately meet many new friends and have someone to talk with and dance with. This has been a huge success!
SDA has a dress code of no jeans or jean skirts, corduroys or cargo pants, or T-Shirts. A nice dress shirt and slacks or POLO shirt with a collar is acceptable. Admission is usually $10.00 and there is a cash bar.
The dances are at the American Legion at 201 Wills Rd in Alpharetta, just off GA 400 Exit 10 Old Milton Parkway 2.3 miles West of GA 400. So come join singles from all over Georgia and make many new friends at Singles Dances Atlanta’s St. Patrick’s dance and weekly events.
