Faith in Hollywood: How Christ is Impacting Hollywood Film Production

Join us Thursday evening, June 19, 7-9PM for an informative presentation on the influence of Christ in the Arts and Entertainment.

Bryan Hickox is a motion picture and television executive, producer, director, and writer. Bryan founded Bryan Hickox Productions, Inc. in mid 1984 and for the next three years developed, produced and/or directed eight network MOW's, cable movies and "Made-For-Home-Video" programs. In January 1987, Mr. Hickox joined Fries Entertainment , Inc., a publicly held corporation, as Vice President of Production. In this capacity he worked closely with the development staff in addition to overseeing world-wide production and post-production on 28 Fries theatrical feature films, television pilots, television movies, miniseries and series. While at Fries he also produced the highest rated movies of the week on all of network television in 1987, 1988, 1989 and 1990. Married in 1987 to a Canadian film accountant, Mr. Hickox enjoys a Canadian Landed Immigrant status and has produced 10 films in Canada over the last 15 years and has qualified as the Canadian "content" producer. As an independent Executive Producer, Producer and Director Mr. Hickox’s 70 movies have been nominated for 16 and won 7 national EMMY awards along with a George Foster Peabody Award and over 200 different awards in a multitude of national and international film and television festivals and competitions. In 1998 Mr. Hickox received the prestigious Florida Motion Picture and Television Association Lifetime Achievement Award.

Bryan also serves as vice president of Master Media, a nonprofit organization which provides professional consulting and personal counseling to media professionals. Master Media maintains a prayer bulleting that features Hollywood executives in the industry that are being prayed for.

Bryan will present the current climate in Hollywood as it relates to faith and film and what God is doing in Hollywood today and how we might pray for this important area of influence in culture. Join us for a very informative time.
