Musician Ken Will Morton Plays Athens in Early June

Ken Will Morton, a singer/songwriter from Athens, Georgia, makes music of a 'rock' genre, seasoned with elements of Americana, folk and blues. His music has been compared by various media to Paul Westerberg, John Hiatt, Steve Earle, Bruce Springsteen and Bob Dylan -- with a nod to The Who and The Replacements.  Morton will be playing at the Crimson Moon in Athens, Georgia on June 2 at 8 p.m.

With four releases under his belt and two more on the way, Morton's music has been praised by No Depression, Harp, Paste Magazine, An Honest Tune, American Songwriter, Stomp & Stammer, Southeast Performer, Performing Songwriter, Relix and other magazines/media. According to fans, Morton is an engaging performer, whether in an acoustic setting or backed by his band, The Wholly Ghosts.  He was recently nominated for 'Best Solo Performer' by Flagpole Magazine.
